The Familia partnership was set up at the Connecting Classrooms contact seminar in Naivasha, Kenya on 23rd May, 2010. The story of the very beginning of the partnership (from the Welsh perspective) can be found on the Cardiff in Kenya blog , written by Eirian and Mike during the contact seminar.
Familia means family in Swahili, and this is what we intend becoming to each other during our partnership.
We are a partnership of 3 clusters of three schools in Ghana, Nigeria & Wales:
Our aim is to help our students to become Global Citizenships by means of a number of shared projects. The results of these projects will be posted here to enable all of us to have access to the students' work.
How will this wiki work?
